How is the machine powered?
Unlike many conventional machines of this size, our solution does not rely on a hydrostatic drive. Instead, the machine is powered by two high-performance electric motors.
This drive concept enables exceptionally precise, responsive, and efficient control of the machine. As a result, movements can be controlled more accurately and work processes can be adapted far more effectively to specific requirements.
What are the payload capacity and lifting height?
The machine delivers a payload capacity of up to 1,600 kg and a lifting height of up to 2,800 mm. With an unladen weight of approximately 1,800 kg, it combines compact dimensions with impressive stability and performance.
This well-balanced design enables both powerful and precise operation, making the machine an exceptionally versatile solution for a wide range of applications.
How is the WL 1600 controlled?
The machine is operated conveniently via remote control, allowing the operator to manage it from a safe distance while maintaining full visibility of the working area at all times.
This control concept offers several decisive advantages: operators can position themselves outside potential hazard zones, gain a clearer view of obstacles and workflows, and operate the machine with greater precision and efficiency. At the same time, remote control supports fast, flexible working, as the operator can move freely around the machine and choose the ideal position for every task.
The result is enhanced safety, improved efficiency, and a significantly higher level of control throughout the entire work process.
When is the market launch planned?
The market launch of the machine is planned for the end of this year. We are currently preparing the first small production series to provide our customers with a reliable, high-performance solution.
Are custom configurations available?
The machine can be customized in selected areas to meet specific operational requirements as effectively as possible. Examples include adjustments to battery capacity, additional features such as a third hydraulic circuit, or tailored lighting solutions.
At present, however, major deviations from the standard production model are not planned, as our focus is on providing a reliable, high-performance, and field-proven standard solution.

How long does the battery last during operation?
The machine is designed to provide more than 8 hours of operating time, making it fully capable of covering a typical working day.
Its powerful electric drive ensures highly efficient energy consumption, allowing the machine to perform reliably even in demanding applications. This makes it an ideal solution for long, productive operating periods with minimal charging interruptions.
Is the machine suitable for outdoor use in snow and rain?
Yes. The machine is specifically engineered for outdoor operation and demanding construction site environments. Its exposed components comply with IP69 protection standards, ensuring outstanding resistance to dust, water, and harsh environmental conditions.
As a result, the machine is ideally equipped for use in rain, snow, and other adverse weather conditions, while delivering reliable performance even in the most demanding work environments.
Does the WL 1600 feature a quick coupler?
Yes. The current proof-of-concept model is fitted with a proprietary hydraulic quick coupler, designed to enable fast and convenient attachment changes.
For the series production model, we plan to rely on proven standard solutions from established manufacturers. This ensures high compatibility with common attachments, dependable technology, and efficient access to spare parts and service support.
The result is fast attachment changes and maximum flexibility in daily operation.
Do I need a driver’s licence to operate the machine?
As a rule, no standard driver’s licence is required to operate the machine, as it is designed as a working machine rather than for use in public road traffic.
Far more important is proper instruction or training to ensure safe and efficient operation. Thanks to its intuitive remote-control system, the machine can be operated with a particularly high degree of ease and precision.
